Koiluna Kids: Fifty Futures is sold by PickCipher LLC, doing business as Koiluna Kids ("we", "us"), Burlington, North Carolina, United States. Contact: support@koilunakids.com. By buying or playing it you agree to these terms.
1. What you buy
A one-time payment of $9.99 lets you play the game online in a web browser, on a computer, a tablet or a phone. Playing online is a license to play in your browser for as long as we run the service, not a copy you own. It is a personal, non-transferable license for you and the children in your household. Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax, where it applies, is added at checkout. There is no subscription and no recurring charge, and there is nothing to buy inside the game.
An Android app is coming to Google Play; it is not out yet. There is no iPhone or iPad app. When the Android app is released, it will be sold by Google Play, separately from a purchase on this website.
2. Who may buy
You must be 18 or over to buy. The game is made for children of about 7 to 11, but children do not buy it and do not have accounts here: a parent, a guardian or another adult buys it, for a child in their care or for themselves, and the account on this website belongs to that adult. At checkout you confirm that you are 18 or over.
3. Your account and license key
Your purchase is linked to the email address used at checkout and to a license key. You sign in with a one-time link we email you (it works for 30 minutes) or with your email and license key; a sign-in lasts 180 days in that browser. You can make a new license key from your account page; the old one stops working at once. Keep your key private. Sharing your access with people outside your household, reselling it or publishing your key is not allowed, and we may end access that is misused. For a school, a library or another group, please write to us first.
4. Stories and saving
The game saves each story on the device it is played on: in your web browser when you play online. Stories are not stored on our servers, and we cannot restore them. Clearing this site's data in a browser, playing in a private browsing window, or a browser that clears the data of sites it has not seen for a while may remove them. The Grown-ups page inside the game can save a backup file of a story place and bring it back.
5. A story, not instructions
The puzzles are make-believe. They are not instructions for real electrical work, animal care, travel or building.
6. Acceptable use
Don't copy, redistribute or modify the game, its pictures, its recordings or this website, and don't interfere with the service.
7. Availability, changes, and if the online service ends
We work to keep the online game available but can't promise uninterrupted service. We may update the game and these terms; material changes will be posted here.
Playing online is a license to play in your browser for as long as we run the service, not a copy you own. We intend to run it for a long time. If we ever decide to end the online service, we will say so on this website and by email to everyone who bought it, at least 30 days before it ends.
8. Refunds
Our refund policy is part of these terms. In short: You can have a full refund within 7 days of purchase, however much has been played; a refund ends access.
10. Warranty and liability
The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
11. Where it is sold, and governing law
Koiluna Kids: Fifty Futures is sold from the United States, in US dollars, to customers in the United States. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States. If you buy as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the consumer law of the place where you live: nothing in these terms limits the rights it gives you.
